Ardin is a man who seem to be loyal to the Demon Army, he does things that the Demon Army ask him to, without questioning the purpose or having doubts. He strongly thinks that age is equal to experience, and is strongly disgusted when he is said to serve under Valefor, who is younger than him. He is also seen as a coward as seen when he use Scarlet as a hostage and human shield.

Kaerbond Forest Arc[]
Ardin was seen as the one who commanded Scarlet to perform a certain task, but when she refused to continue serving under him, Ardin requested for her to be brought to him, so he could force her to work for him again. The process was interrupted by Zalfier , and realising that he was Zalfina 's brother, he proceed to battle Zalfier , but lost.
Timeless Arc[]
Ardin was seen summoned before Valefor in Glazelight Stronghold. While reluctant to be under her command, he accepted the task Valefor assigned him to do. He abducted Scarlet while she was separated from the group and brought her to Valefor. He used Scarlet as a human shield when Slash was fighting Valefor , to protect himself.
When Aegis came to interrupt the fight, he threatened to kill Scarlet if Aegis does not drop her weapon and surrender. However, he was killed when Aegis summoned blades right under his feet, killing him while cutting the ropes that held Scarlet 's wrists.
